WoW Forever Skyborne Guide

The Skyborne are Forever’s new playable race — not a reskin of an existing one, but built from scratch with its own lore and a dedicated starting zone, Zephras Isle.

Where They Start

Zephras Isle is new content built specifically for Forever, not a repurposed Classic zone. It serves as the Skyborne’s starting experience and introduces their story before the wider game opens up.

Faction & Access

Skyborne can join either the Horde or the Alliance. Race access comes with the Skyborne Heroic Pack and up; beta access specifically requires the Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection (full pricing on Everything We Know).

Should You Start With One?

If you want to see what actually separates Forever from Classic, yes. Everything about the Skyborne — the zone, the quests, the story — is new, which makes it the fastest way into content a longtime Classic player won’t already know by heart.

What’s Confirmed vs. Not Yet

**Confirmed:** the race exists, it has its own starting zone, and it’s tied into Forever’s take on Azeroth.

**Not yet confirmed:** the complete class list, racial abilities, starting level, the full Zephras Isle quest chain, starting gear, and how the Skyborne fit into the story after Warcraft III: Reforged — Forsaken Kingdom. Treat anything you see about these ahead of the beta as speculation.
